The research questions are as follows: 1) What factors contribute to low student interest in studying history at SMKN Pariwisata Parigata Parigi? 2) How are the history instructors at SMKN Pariwisata Parigata Parigi addressing the issue of low student interest in learning history? The objectives of this investigation are as follows: 1) to elucidate the numerous factors that contribute to the low level of student interest in studying history at SMKN Pariwisata Parigata Parigi, and 2) to determine the measures that history teachers are employing to address the low level of student interest in studying history at SMKN Pariwisata Parigata Parigi. This research employed qualitative methods. Data collecting techniques include observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that: 1) the factors influencing class X students' lack of interest in learning history at SMKN Pariwisata Parigata Parigi stem from within and beyond the students themselves. Each student has different problems or reasons for low interest in learning. According to the results of the study, the factors that cause low interest in learning history subjects are influenced by two factors, namely internal factors, which are factors that come from within the students themselves, such as lack of interest and motivation in learning history, and health problems experienced can complicate the student's learning process. The second factor is external influences from outside sources, such as history professors, schools, families, and the social environment. 2) History teachers' efforts to overcome students' lack of interest in learning history subjects, such as class management, motivation and reinforcement, approaching students, and using media in various learning models, despite the challenges of implementing various and enjoyable learning models and media for students.
