The research questions are: (1) how is the effectiveness of history learning at SMA Negeri 1 Sirenja? (2) How is the development of disciplined character among students at SMA Negeri 1 Sirenja? (3) Can the development of disciplined character in students at SMA Negeri 1 Sirenja be influenced by the effectiveness of history learning? This research aims to describe (1) the effectiveness of history learning at SMA Negeri 1 Sirenja. (2) the process by which students at SMA Negeri 1 Sirenja develop a disciplined character. (3) the effectiveness of history learning can influence the disciplined character development of students at SMA Negeri 1 Sirenja. This research employed a qualitative and descriptive method. The data collection methods include observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis procedures encompassed data reduction, data display, and conclusions. This research subject was 29 students from class XII-IIS-4. According to the data collected, it is evident that history learning has a positive impact on the development of discipline among students at SMA Negeri 1 Sirenja. Implementing discipline in the learning process and formal activities, such as flag ceremonies, has improved student behavior. (2) Developing a disciplined character in students at SMA Negeri 1 Sirenja involves educating and providing direct examples of discipline, such as following school rules, dressing neatly, and not deviating from community values and norms. History teachers also model discipline in class, such as arriving on time and completing assignments. (3) The effectiveness of history learning can impact the development of a disciplined character in students at SMA Negeri 1 Sirenja. A disciplined mindset in students and teachers ensures that the class's teaching and learning process runs smoothly and effectively, yielding ideal outcomes. A student can be considered disciplined if he/she performs work orderly and consistently by the requirements, regulations, and norms that apply, with full awareness and without coercion.
