Abstrak
ABSTRACT Nina Sarina, 2022. The ability of history teachers in implementing learning evaluation at SMA Negeri 5 Palu. Thesis, History Education Study Program, Department of Social Science Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. Supervisor: Misnah. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The sample of this study was 2 history teachers and several students of class X IPS 1. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations and documents/documentation. This research discusses about. a) The preparatory stage of the history teacher in implementing learning evaluation at SMA Negeri 5 Palu. b) How history teachers carry out learning evaluations at SMA Negeri 5 Palu. c) How history teachers manage student evaluation results at SMA Negeri 5 Palu. The purpose of this study is to explain the stages of preparation carried out by history teachers in implementing learning evaluations at SMA Negeri 5 Palu, to explain how history teachers carry out learning evaluations at SMA Negeri 5 Palu and to explain how history teachers manage student evaluation results in high school. Country 5 Palu. The results of this research show that from the three stages of preparation, implementation and management of the evaluation results, the results are good, seen from how the history teacher composes the grid, arranges the questions, the way the evaluation is carried out and the way the teacher gives grades to the students. Although the evaluation was carried out online, offline and in person, there were no obstacles encountered. However, the process of implementing the evaluation, student readiness is the most important thing to get the expected final results after the evaluation. Keywords: Ability, Teacher, Evaluation
