| Abstrak ABD.FARID, 2020. The Influence of Social Environment on the Nationalism of Students at SMA AL-Khairaat, Kolono Village, Bungku Timur District, Morowali Regency. Thesis, History Education Study Program, Social Science Education Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University. Misnah Advisor The problems in this study are: (1) How does the social environment influence the attitude of student nationalism in SMA Al-Khairaat Kolono. (2) How is the school's efforts in shaping the attitude of nationalism of students at SMA Al-Khairaat Kolono. This type of research used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The techniques used in data collection were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis of the results of this study showed that (1) The influence of the social environment on the nationalistic attitudes of students at SMA AL-Khairaat Kolono needs to be considered, especially parents and teachers who need to provide understanding children to always apply the values of nationalism in the school environment and in the community. Besides that, the association of children also needs to be considered considering the development of globalization currents that are increasingly spreading in various regions, especially in the village of Kolono, which can affect the mindset and slowly influence the spirit of nationalism of these students. (2) Efforts made by history teachers in instilling an attitude of nationalism in students at SMA AL-Khairaat Kolono through daily habituation activities such as carrying out flag ceremonies, cleaning the school environment, carrying out class pickets, approaching students by shaking hands with the teacher before entering class. , provide positive advice to students to always maintain school order, respect elders, respect friends regardless of religion, ethnicity, language and culture.
