Abstrak
This study aimed to improve student learning outcomes with the application of a guided inquiry model on the reaction rate material of students in class XI MAN 2 Palu City. This type of research was pre-experimental with pretest and posttest group design. Sampling was done by purposive sampling with the sample in this study was class XI MIA 4 as an experimental class 1 and class XI MIA 6 as an experimental class 2. The instrument used in this study was a learning achievement test. The research data obtained from the two classes obtained is average for class experimental 1 84,76 and class experimental 2 83,08. The research data were analyzed with the N-gain test used to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes for the experimental class 1 and experimental class 2, which were 79% and 78%. The results obtained concluded that the application of the guided inquiry model in class XI MAN 2 Palu can improve learning outcomes.
