Keji Beling (Strobilanthes crispus L.) is a plant commonly planted by people as hedges. This can grow in almost all regions in Indonesia. This plant has many benefits for human health in healing several diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the flavonoid compound and its level contained in Keji Beling leaves (Strobilanthes crispus L.) extract. The qualitative study showed that Keji Beling leaves extract contained flavonoids positively marked by the changing color from green to orange. The quantitative flavonoid was tested using quercetin standard solution curve. Samples were analyzed using UV-Vis spectrophotometry at a maximum wavelength of 435 nm. The results showed that the average level of total flavonoids in Keji Beling leaves extract was 0.150 ± 0.005%. Keywords: flavonoids, Keji Beling leaves, UV-Vis spectrophotometry
