Essential oil is one of the type of multi-purpose vegetable oils. Essential oil can be produced from various parts of plants, such as roots, stems, flowers, fruit, twigs and leaves. Clove leaves contain essential oils that function as an aromatherapy. Aromatherapy candle is an alternative application of inhaled aromatherapy, with the inhalation of aroma vapors produced from a few drops of essential oil. This study aimed to investigate essential oils from clove leaves for aromatherapy candles. The cloves leaf oil (Syzygium aromaticum) used come from the area namely Mensung village, Mepanga sub-district, Parigi Moutong district. This research was carried out experimentally by preparing aromatherapy wax followed by conducting organoleptic tests, namely the location of the axis point, color preferences, texture preferences, aroma preferences before burning, and aroma preferences after burning. The results from the organoleptic test showed that the level of panelist preference for the aromatherapy candles was higher at a concentration of 15% compared to a concentration of 10% and 5%.
