Abstrak This study aims to determine whether the Powtoon-assisted Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model influences students' understanding of physics concepts in class X at SMAN 7 Palu. This type of research is quasiexperimental, with the research design being the Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Group Design. The population of this study were all students of class X SMAN 7 Palu, consisting of 10 classes with a total of 357 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with research samples from class X 3 (n=35) as the experimental class and class X 4 (n=35) as the control class. To measure students' understanding of physics concepts, a multiple-choice test with 24 questions has been validated with a reliability test of 0.801. Data analysis for testing research results using the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing using ? = 0.05. The results showed that the experimental class pretest was 61.57, the control class pretest was 54.17, the experimental class posttest was 84.49, and the control class posttest was 76.71. Based on the Independent Sample T-test Posttest data obtained t-count 3.037 > t-table 1.997 with a significance level of 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Powtoon-assisted Team GamesTournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on students' understanding of physics concepts in class X SMAN 7 Palu and for the Effect Size test the value for the Pretest and Posttest data for the experimental class is 2.42, it is included in the very high category, and the Effect Size value for the Pretest and Posttest data for the control class is 2.13, it is included in the very high category.
