Reasoning cability hypothetical-deductive is the ability to think is logical to formulate hypotheses based on the theory of science that has been there. This study aims to describe the ability of hypothesis-deducting reasoning if a student in class X of the Integrated Public High School Model Madani Palu in physics learning particle dynamics material. Type of this research is qualitative by using the approach of descriptive qualitative. Subjects in this study were students of class X MIA 5 of Integrated Public High School Model Madani Palu, amounting to 26 students and had participated in the learning of particle dynamics material. The instrument that is used is the test the ability of reasoning hypothesis deductive and guidelines for the interview. The data obtained were then analyzed by descriptive analysis. Results of the analysis showed that the ability of reasoning hypothesis-deductive students amounted to 58,2 %. It shows that the ability of reasoning hypothesis-deductive students categorized enough. Matters of this things that affect Capacity of reasoning hypothesis-deductive that is the process of learning in the classroom , some students have gotten the same problem , and teachers who give the referrals and motivation so that the state of the class is conducive.
