| Abstrak ABSTRAK Mang Megayanti. 2021. Profil Kemampuan Siswa SMP Negeri 3 Poso Pesisir Utara dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Cerita Tentang Luas Permukaan dan Volume Limas Berdasarkan Adversity Quotient. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, Jurusan Pendidikan MIPA, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Tadulako, Pembimbing Baharuddin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi profil kemampuan siswa SMP Negeri 3 Poso Pesisir Utara kelas VIIIC dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita tentang luas permukaan dan volume limas berdasarkan Adversity Quotient (AQ). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa: (1) Subjek CB mampu memahami masalah, merencanakan penyelesaian, melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian dan memeriksa kembali penyelesaian masalah. Subjek CB mampu menyebutkan hal yang diketahui dan yang ditanyakan dengan benar, mampu mengungkapkan langkah-langkah penyelesaian dan menyelesaikan masalah sesuai dengan rencana dengan tepat, serta memeriksa kembali hasil penyelesaiannya. (2) Subjek CP mampu memahami masalah yaitu dapat menyebutkan hal yang diketahui dan yang ditanyakan dengan benar. Selain merencanakan penyelesaian, subjek CP juga mampu melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian yang telah ia rencanakan dalam menyelesaikan masalah, namun tidak memeriksa kembali penyelesaian karena merasa sudah yakin dengan jawabannya. (3) Subjek QT mampu memahami masalah yaitu dapat menyebutkan hal yang diketahui dan yang ditanyakan dengan benar. Subjek QT juga merencanakan penyelesaian, namun dalam melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian, subjek QT tidak menyelesaikan masalah secara tuntas, karena sudah merasa sulit dan kebingungan untuk melanjutkan mengerjakan masalah. Subjek QT juga tidak melakukan pemeriksaan kembali atas jawabannya. Kata Kunci: profil, kemampuan, soal cerita, luas permukaan, volume limas, adversity quotient ABSTRACT Mang Megayanti. 2021. The Ability Profile of SMP Negeri 3 Poso Pesisir Utara Students in Solving Story Questions About Surface Area and Limas Volume Based on Adversity Quotient. The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of the ability profile of students of SMP Negeri 3 Poso Pesisir Utara class VIIIC in solving story problems about the surface area and volume of pyramids based on Adversity Quotient (AQ). This study used descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that: (1) CB subjects were able to understand problems, plan solutions, implement settlement plans and re-examine problem solving. CB subjects are able to mention things that are known and asked correctly, are able to express the steps for solving and solving problems according to the plan properly, and re-examine the results of the completion. (2) CP subjects are able to understand the problem, namely being able to mention things that are known and asked correctly. In addition to planning a solution, the CP subject is also able to carry out the settlement plan that he has planned in solving the problem, but does not re-examine the solution because he feels confident with the answer. (3) QT subjects are able to understand the problem, namely being able to mention things that are known and asked correctly. QT subjects also plan solutions, but in carrying out the settlement plans, QT subjects do not solve the problem completely, because they already find it difficult and confused to continue working on the problem.
