Aska Auliatullah. 2015. Errors Analysis in Solving Proportional Problem of Students Class VIII A of MTs N 4 Palu Based on Solve Polya. A Skripsi. Mathematics Education Study Program, Mathematics Education Study Program Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. The first Advisor is Gandung Sugita, and the second Advisor is Sutji Rochaminah. This research is a qualitative study aims to obtain a description and errors cause of students class VIIIA of MTs N 4 Palu in solving the problem based Polya of direct proportions and invers proportions. The data collected by using test and interview. The research subject consists of two students. The results showed that the description of the errors and cause based on solving Polya are: (1). Understand the problem: (a) Did not write what is known and asked from the question, it shown that the subject does not write what is known and asked in the answer because the subject forgot to write them, this subject make errors procedural. (2) Make a plan : (a) Errors in determining the formula of proportions, it shown that the subject was wrong in applying a formula of worth direct proportions this caused there is no planning on the answer where the subject cannot distinguish the direct proportions and the invers proportions in the form of problem solving, this subject make errors conceptual, (b) The cannot connect between two concepts, it shown that the subject AT cannot connect between the two concept, concept direct proportions with the concept of time unit and the subjek SI the concept of invers proportions and the concept of addition, this subject make errors conceptual.(c) Did not write the variables, it shown that the subject SI does not write the variables in the answer, this subject make errors procedural, and (d) Did not write all the variables and the things which are already known into a table indicated the subject AT does not write down what is known and asked in the answer, this subject make errors procedural. (3) Carry out our plan, at this stage the subject has done according to the plan he wanted, and (4) Look back at the completed solution, the subject does no recheck the answer so that it cannot check the correctness of the answer. Keywords: Error Analysis, Errors Conceptual, Errors Procedural, Problem Solving, Direct Proportions, Invers Proportions, Problem Solving Polya.
