This study aims to obtain information about the effects of: (1) visual learning styles on mathematics learning achievement of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 18 Palu; (2) the auditory learning style towards the mathematics learning achievement of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 18 Palu. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 18 Palu in the academic year 2019/2020 totaling 172 students. The sampling technique was carried out by using probability sampling, namely simple random sampling. Mathematics learning achievement data were obtained using tests, while data on visual learning styles and auditory learning styles used questionnaires. Hypothesis testing uses simple linear regression analysis with a significance level of ? = 0.05. The results showed that there was a significant influence between: (1) visual learning styles on learning achievement with a contribution of 78%; (2) auditory learning style on learning achievement with a contribution of 86.9%.
