Afras Yoel Palinggi (2020). The Implementation of Guide Discovery Learning Model to Improve Students Learning Outcomes on Inverse Function subject Matter in grade X IIS 1 at SMA Negeri 3 Palu. Essay. Mathematics and Science Education Study Program, Education Science Departement Teacher Training And Education Faculty Tadulako University. Mentor (1) Gandung Sugita (2) Tegoeh S. Karniman.. The main problem in this study is the low student learning outcomes in the material of the Invers Function in class X IIS 1 SMA Negeri 3 Palu. This can be seen from the results of the initial test analysis on prerequisite material where students there are still many errors in counting operations, students are less actively involved in learning, either ask the teacher or answer questions from the teacher. To overcome this problem, then the researcher applies a guided discovery learning model in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to obtain a description. The implementation of Guided Discovery Learning Model to Improve Students’ Learning Outcomes on Invers of a Function subject Matter in grade X IIS 1 at SMA Negeri 3 Palu. This type of research is a Class Action Research that refers to research design Kemmis and Mc. Taggart that is: (1) planning, (2) implementation of actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The type of data used is qualitative data with interview data, observation data, field record data, and learning outcomes data. The results of the study indicate that is The implementation of Guided Discovery Learning Model could Improve Students’ Learning Outcomes on Inverse Function subject Matter in grade X IIS 1 at SMA Negeri 3 Palu. Through the following stages: (1) formulation of the problem that is the teacher provides information on the subject matter and give LKPD to students; (2) data processing and constructing conjectures namely students observe, reasoning and trying to LKPD in groups and arrange conjectures from LKPD done; (3) examination of the conjecture that is, the teacher checks the results of the student conjecture and provide reasons for the conjecture of students who make mistakes; (4) verbalizing the conjecture namely students present the results of their group work in front of the class; (5) feedback that is, the teacher gives practice questions to students. The results of the assessment observation of teacher activities in class on cycle is 78,75% while in the cycle II increased to 87,5%. For assessment of observation activities students in class on the cycle I is 70% while in the cycle II increased to 83,75%. The analysis of the results is a percentage classical learning completeness on the final test of the cycle I action is 63,33% while in the cycle II analysis of final test results of student actions increased to 70,00%. Keywords: Guided Discovery Learning Model; Learning outcomes; Invers of a Function.
