| Abstrak Insect pests or insects that damage cultivated plants are animals that are included in the insecta class where their lives can directly damage plants and their damage causes economic losses because it can reduce the quality and quantity of plant production. Pest insect attacks on agricultural land can be very detrimental to farmers if they occur on a large scale and are not controlled. This study aims to identify the types of pest insects in the Posona Village Community Plantation Fields and their use as learning media in the form of pocket books. This type of research is descriptive research with stations and plots of 100 x 100 m. The results of the study found 11 types of pest insects consisting of 9 families and 4 orders. The 11 types of pest insects are: Apogonia sp, Leucopholis sumatrensis, Leptocorisa oratoria, Nepothettix virescnes, Sanarus sp, Dysdercus cingulate, Planococcus citri, Acontia lucida, Junonia atlites, Acrida cinerae, Valanga nigricornis. Environmental factor data at each station, namely at station 1 temperature 30ºC, humidity 81% and light intensity 524 lux, station 2: temperature 30ºC humidity 80%, and light intensity 554 lux, station 3: temperature 33ºC, humidity 66% and light intensity 657 lux. Based on the results of the validation test by a team of expert lecturers consisting of content experts, media experts and design experts as well as 25 student examiners, the results of the study were declared very feasible to be used as a learning media in the form of a pocket book with a feasibility percentage of 82.96% Keywords : types of spiders, learning media, digital pocket book |
