| Abstrak Bay leaves and red ginger are useful as antioxidants. This research intends to describe the effect of combination of bay leaf extract (Syzygium polyanthum) and red ginger (Zingiber officinale roscoe varr rubrum) on the reduction of creatinine levels of white rats (Rattus norvegicus) induced by alloxan. This research used a laboratory experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD). The test animals used were 28 white rats and were grouped into 7 groups, namely the normal group (Kn) which was not treated, K(+) which was induced by alloxan and given synthetic drug (Metformin), K(-) which was only induced by alloxan, then groups P1, P2, P3, P4 given a combination of bay leaf extract and red ginger with concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The results show that the combination of bay leaf extract and red ginger had a significant effect on alloxan-induced reduction in creatinine levels in white rats. Concentration of 25%, 50%, 75?fective in lowering creatinine levels. While the concentration of 100?uses death in rats. This research practicum module is very suitable to be used as a learning resource with an average percentage of 81.15%. |
