Abstrak
Forest of Lembantongoa Village is the area of Lore Lindu National Park which has a fairly high biodiversity, one of which is terrestrial ferns, however because the distance of the Lembantongoa Village forest is very close to residential areas, community activities can interfere with such as clearing land for plantations and are usually used as food needs, ornamental plants, and medicinal ingredients. This research aimed to identify the types of terrestrial ferns, determine the density and dominance of terrestrial ferns and to analyze the feasibility of a pocket book regarding the types and density of terrestrial ferns in the forests of Lembantongoa Village, Lore Lindu National Park area. The method used a survey method and the sampling technique used the belt transect method by means of purposive sampling. The results obtained 10 species from 10 genera, namely, Angiopteris evecta (J.R.Forst.) Hoffman, Asplenium nidus Linn, Cyathea contaminans (Wall.ex Hook) Copel, Cyclosorus terminalis (J.Sm.ex Hook), Lycopodium complanatum L., Diplazium esculentum Swartz, Gleichenia linearis (Burm. F.), Nephrolepis biserrata SW. Pityrogramma calomelanos L., and Tetaria sp. The density index of terrestrial ferns is 2 types of high category, 2 types of medium category, 6 types of low category. Of the 10 types of ferns, there are dominant types of ferns, namely Diplazium esculentum Swartz and Nephrolepis biserrata SW. This research is used as a learning medium in the form of a pocket book with a feasibility test of a percentage of 78.70% so that the pocket book is feasible to use.
