Abstrak
Kersen leaves (Muntingia calabura L.) are known to contain flavonoid compounds. Flavonoids in cherry leaves have potential as antioxidants, hepatoprotectors, analgestics, and anti-inflamatory. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Kersen leaves (Muntingia calabura L.) simplisia on serum levels of glutamate pyruvate transaminase in white rats (Rattus norvegicus) induced by CCl4 and its use as a learning resource. The research method used is an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD). The result showed that the simplicia of cherry leaves had a significant effect on decreasing serum levels of glutamate pyruvate transaminase induced by CCl4. The most effective concentration to reduce serum levels of glutamate pyruvate transaminase in white rats is a concentration of 100 % (P4) and the result of this study are suitable for use as a learning resource in the form of practical guide Keywords: Kersen leaves, SGPT, CCl4, Learning Resources
