Abstrak Anggrairu. 2022. Development of Task Presentations, Notes, and Peer Assessments Learning Models to Improve Understanding of the Group Concepts in Mathematics Education Students. This study aims to develop a quality SITUNTAS learning model with valid, practical and effective criteria to improve students' understanding of concepts in the Algebraic Structure course. The development stage refers to the design of the Borg & Gall modi fied by Sukmadinata, namely: preliminary study, model development and model trials. The result of this development is that the SITUNTAS Learning Model has the validity of content and constructs with very valid categories, and has the characteristics of I) syntacmatic, with 5 phases, namely: transition to the team; presentation of tasks and notes; peer assessment; feedback; and the assignment, 2) social system, with interaction between students in searching for material, making important notes from the material, manage material for presentation as assignments, discussions and conducting peer assessments, 3) the principle of reaction, students prepare themselves to present their assignments that will be assessed by their friends from other groups, 4) support systems, the availability of curriculum, lesson plan, teaching materials, practice questions, and assessment instruments, 5) instructional impact, improving the understanding of group concepts on students with indicators of being able to: re-express concepts with their own sentences without changing the meaning; creating examples and non• examples; identifying the properties of a concept, and developing the necessary and/or sufficient terms of a concept, 6) the impact of accompaniment, including: the activeness of students looking for learning materials through the internet; able to write back from the material that has been read; get used to reading the material to be studied before attending lectures; have the skills to take important notes; able to record the source of the obtained library, such as the author's last name, book title, journal, publisher, place of publication, journal page, Internet or web address: student creativity in making presentation materials; have a sense of responsibility; respect the opinion of friends; able to communicate; foster an independent attitude and love to read; train a critical attitude; fostering self-confidence; able to cooperate in groups; and dare to express an opinion. The SITUNTAS learning model developed practically is applied to improve the understanding of student concepts with practicality values from students 3.41 (very practical) and lecturers 3.46 (very practical). The SITUNTAS learning model is effective for improving students' understanding of concepts in Group material, with an average score of 3.23 (effective).
