| Abstrak This study aims to develop students’ numerical English skills through the use of digital technology among seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Bungku Barat. This research applied Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The data were collected through observation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ learning activities, motivation, and achievement. Students’ learning activities improved from fair in Cycle I to excellent in Cycle II. Students’ motivation also increased from a medium level to a high level. In addition, the test results showed an improvement in the mean score from 72.5 in Cycle I to 81.15 in Cycle II. The percentage of students achieving the passing grade also increased from 70.83% to 87.5%. The use of digital applications such as ClockABC, Price Calculator, and Google Calendar helped students understand time, price, and date expressions more easily and in an engaging way. Students also showed very positive responses toward the use of digital technology in learning. In conclusion, digital technology is effective in improving students’ numerical English skills. This study recommends the integration of digital tools as an innovative teaching strategy to enhance English learning outcomes. |
