Abstrak Lestari Annisa Kahar Putri (A 122 22 016). This thesis is entitled Students’ Learning Experience Using Hybrid Learning: A Case Study in The Second-Year Postgraduate Students of English Education Tadulako University. Postgraduate English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. Under the supervision of Mochtar and Darmawan. This study aims to determine and analyze the learning experience in using hybrid learning for second-year English Language Education postgraduate students at Tadulako University, Palu. The researcher applied a qualitative case study research methodology. Subjects were selected using a purposive sampling technique where the six students were deliberately selected as research participants. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews. In this study, the researcher found that students from case one who carried out online learning faced several difficulties in their learning experience. Likewise, students from case two also felt difficulties for various reasons. Their learning experiences included how to overcome obstacles and perspectives on the implementation of hybrid learning. The results showed that they could solve their problems by finding a good place or finding a place with Wi-Fi available. However, for students who were in class, they solved their problems by using their internet quota and the problems were resolved, if online students did not experience network problems. Regarding student perceptions during the implementation of hybrid learning, online students felt helped because they could work while continuing their studies. However, in contrast to students who were in class, they were very disturbed by the problems faced by online students. This also implies that the hybrid learning model is considered an unsuccessful learning model, if the facilities are inadequate. Especially for students who are studying online, if the network is inadequate, they must decide between continuing to postgraduate level or continuing to work. The results of this study are expected to be used by policy makers as a reference in decisions on the use of hybrid learning. Keywords: Learning Experience, hybrid learning, obstacles |
