Abstrak
Triwahyu (A12121237). The Effect of Digital Flashcards on Vocabulary Mastery of the Seventh Graders at SMP Negeri 20 Palu. Skripsi, English Education Study Program, Language and Art Education Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University. Under the supervision of Prof. Konder Manurung, DEA, Ph.D., and Andi Patmasari, S.Pd, M.Pd. This study aims to improve the vocabulary mastery of the seventh-grade students through digital flashcards at SMP Negeri 20 Palu. This research applied a quasiexperimental research design with a non-equivalent control group. The population of this study consisted of 106 students from classes VII A, VII B, VII C, and VII D. The samples were class VII A as the experimental group and class VII B as the control group, selected by cluster random sampling. The researcher administered pre-tests and post-tests during data collection. The results showed that the mean score of the experimental group on the post-test (72.00) was higher than that of the control group (56.13). This was confirmed by calculations using SPSS version 25, where the significance value (p = 0.000) was smaller than the significance level of 0.05. It indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.
