This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the visual media method in teaching English vocabulary to third-grade students at SDN 26 Palu. Through six meetings involving the use of pictures, flashcards, and educational videos, the research found that the use of visual media significantly enhances students' vocabulary acquisition. Data were obtained through pre-tests and post-tests, indicating an average score increase from 29.33 in the pre-test to 72.38 in the post-test. The analysis results show that the visual media method not only improves students' vocabulary skills but also boosts their motivation and engagement in the learning process. This research concludes that the application of visual media is an effective strategy for teaching vocabulary to young learners. Keywords: Visual media, vocabulary, young learners |
