| Abstrak ABSTRACT Siska Suaib, 2021 “The effect of peer feedback technique in improving students' writing skill in descriptive text at Man Insan Cendekia KOTA PALU ”. Skripsi, English Education study program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. This skripsi was written under the supervisors of Aminah and Budi. In this research, Researcher found that students have difficulty in writing a text well. It is because they do not have sufficient vocabulary and confused to identifiy the right structure of descriptive text. To overcome the problems, researcher try to apllied peer feedback technique to prove whether peer feedback has an effect on improving student’s writing skill at Man Insan Cendekia KOTA PALU. This research used a quasy-experimental design, That consisted of two groups, namely the control group and the experimental group. Researcher gave pre-test to determine the ability of the two groups before gave treatment. The result of the pre-test showed that the control group scored higher than the experimental group. Then the researcher gave the treatment of used peer feedback techniques in the learning process to the experimental group. Finally, researcher gave the post-test to both groups. The result of the post-test showed that the experimental group was able to get high scores compared to the control group. It is because in the used of peer feedback techniques, students can easily find out mistakes in their work and get suggestions from peers, so they are able to write texts well according to comments and suggestions from their friends. The result of the research show that the use of peer feedback techniques has a positive effect on improving students' writing skills at Man Insan Cendekia KOTA PALU . |
