This study aims to determine whether the application of Educaplay can increase the vocabulary of grade IX students of SMPN 2 Palu. This study used quantitative research with a pre-experimental design. The population of this study was 32 grade IX D students at SMPN 2 Palu. The sample selection process used the purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed using the t-test to compare the average pretest and posttest scores of the experimental class. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant difference in the average pretest and posttest scores of students in the experimental class, namely 54.38 and 72.97. Further analysis showed that the tcount (13.66) was greater than the t-table (1.695). Therefore, it can be concluded that Educaplay can increase students' vocabulary.
