Abstrak
This study aimed to prove whether using short videos on TikTok Media can improve the Speaking Skills of Class X Students of SMA Negeri 4 Sigi. The research population consisted of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 4 Sigi, and the sample was selected using cluster sampling techniques. The sample includes class X B as the experimental group with 25 students and class X A as the control group, with 25 students. Data were collected using tests divided into pre-tests and post-tests and analyzed statistically using a t-test with a degree of freedom (df) of 48 and a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the t-counted value (3.62) which is higher than the t-table value (1.679), which indicates that the research hypothesis is accepted. Thus, short video on TikTok Media method is effective in improving the speaking skills of students of SMA Negeri 4 Sigi.
