| Abstrak ?The Purpose of this study is to provide whether the use of Printed Media to Improve Reading Comprehension of the grade eleventh students of Smk Negeri 1 Sigi. This research is expected to contribute to English teachers, students, and researcher. This research applied quasi-experimental research design. The research population was the eleventh grade students of Smk Negeri 1 Sigi. The sample of this research were class XI TKJ A as experimental consisted of 24 students and class XI TKJ B as control class that consisted of 20 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used test. The test was used twice as pre-test and post-test. Then, the data were analyzed statistically. The data obtained indicate the difference of mean score of pre-test ( 59.83 ) while mean score of post-test ( 76.44 ) . By applying 0.05 level, found out that the t-counted value ( 3,117 ) was higher than t-table ( 1.682 ). It means that the result indicates that the printed media is effective to improve Reading Comprehension of the grade eleventh students of Smk Negeri 1 Sigi. |
