| Abstrak The purpose of this research is to find out vocabulary mastery grade the eighth students through outdoor learning activities at SMP Negeri 15 Palu. The researcher applied experimental design. The population of this research was the eighth – grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Palu. The researcher selected the sample by using cluster random sampling. The sample of this research was the eighth – grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Palu; VIII A with 32 students as the experimental group and VIII B with 28 students as the control group. The data of collected by vocabulary test consisted of a pre-test and post test that conducted at first and last meetings. Then the treatment was only given to the experimental group. The result of the experimental groups’ pre – test is 20.53, while the control groups is 37.5. The result of the experimental groups’ post–test is 42.28, while the control groups is 43.67. By applying a 0.05 level of significance, the researcher found that the value of the t-counted (9.81) is higher than the t-table (1.658). It means the hypothesis was accepted. In conclusion, using the outdoor learning activities method effectively improves vocabulary mastery grade eighth students of SMP Negeri 15 Palu. Keywords: Improve, Vocabulary, Outdoor Learning |
