Abstrak The objective of this research is to find out if the animated film can develop the vocabulary mastery of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sigi Biromaru or not. The researcher used Pre-experimental research design. The population in this study were grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sigi Biromaru. The research sample was grade VIII which consisted of 25 students. The techniques used for data collection were pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed statistically. The results of data analysis showed that the pre-test is 83.52 while post-test 59.68 and t value (8.07) was higher than the t table value (1.711) using a significant level of 0.05 with a degree of freedom (df) of 24 (n-1). This proves that the hypothesis is accepted. It is concluded that the use of animated films had an impact on the development of students' vocabulary mastery at SMP Negeri 1 Sigi Biromaru. |
