English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. Under the supervision of Aminah and Agussatriana. The aim of this study is to prove whether or not the use of TikTok application can improve students’ speaking skill. This research used a quasi- experimental design consisting of experimental and control groups. The population of this research was the eleventh-grade of SMAN 2 Palu which consisted of 125 students. This research used a purposive sampling technique to carry out the sample. The sample of this research was two classes, in the amount 68 students of MIA 1 and MIA 3. The test was administered twice for pretest and posttest. The data collection process, this research used a speaking test. In gathering the data, the students were answer a question orally. The data were analyzed statistically. The result present that the mean score of the experimental group improved from (59.35) to (88.62), while the control group’s mean score improved from (65.23) to (77.63). It was different from the result of the pretest, in which the mean score of the control group was statistically higher than the experimental group. The researcher found that the t-counted was higher than the t- table (5.25 >1.668). It means that the hypothesis is accepted. It means the use of the use of TikTok application can improve speaking skill of the eleventh-grade students at SMAN 2 Palu. Keywords: Improving, Speaking skill, TikTok application
