English Education Study Program, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University. Under the supervision of Sriati Usman and Anjar Kusuma Dewi. This research aims to discusses how mind mapping can help students improve their skills in writing descriptive texts at different levels of education. The results from many research studies show that mind mapping helps students organize their ideas better, makes them more interested and active in writing, and improves their school results. When teachers combine mind mapping with student-centered methods like the 4C framework, students write more smoothly, feel more confident, and remember what they learn for a longer time. This shows that mind mapping is a useful and flexible tool for teaching writing. Also, other studies show that using diaries in writing classes helps students reflect on their thoughts and write more regularly, which makes writing lessons even more effective. This research explains how combining mind mapping and diary writing can create writing activities that are meaningful and focused on students. |
