Abstrak ABSTRACT Online learning is a phenomenon of technological progress in the field of education. Nowadays, various levels of education have used online learning in carrying out the teaching and learning process. The objective of this research is to find out students’ perception on the use of Google Classroom. A case study design was used by employing questionnaire and interview as the technique of data collection in order to describe students’ perception on the use of Google Classroom. The participants were 20 sixth-semester students of English Education Study Program at Tadulako University. The researcher distributed an online questionnaire and conducted an in-depth interview to gain detailed information. The findings show that most of the students agree with the technology acceptance model used in this research. It was found that students have a positive response to the use of Google Classroom for several advantages; 1) easily accessible anywhere and anytime, 2) has a low cost of learning, 3) has various and useful features in supporting the learning process. However, the quality of interaction in Google Classroom is still considered poor. It concludes that Google Classroom is a platform that can help students and lecturers in the online learning process with its easy access and features. |
