| Abstrak UUN SAFITRI (A12117279). This Skripsi is entitled “A Study on the Implementation of Using Picture in Teaching Speaking Skill”. Skripsi, English Education Study Program, Language and Art Education Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University, under the supervision of Mukrim and Desrin Lebagi. This research aimed to investigate the teaching procedures used by researcher in improving students' speaking skills through the implementation of picture. The research utilized a library research method, analyzing one primary source and five secondary sources, consisting of three skripsi and two articles from 2018 to 2023. The results revealed that all of the researchers adapts Andrew Wright's proposed teaching procedures, which included distributing copies of the pictures, providing questions, explaining the use of pictures and conjunctions, monitoring students, and giving them practice opportunities. The studies showed a significant difference in students' scores and performance before and after the implementation of using picture, from the reviewed articles in this study. Overall, the findings suggest that the use of using picture can facilitate language learning and development, resulting in improved performance and scores of students.
