Abstrak ABSTRACT Rivaldy Setiawan (A 121 17 182), "Using English Spelling Bee Game to Develop Vocabulary Mastery of Grade Seven Students of SMPN 1 Tomini", ASkripsi, English Education Study Program, Language and Art Education Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tadulako University, under supervision of Sudarkam R. Mertosono. The objective of this research is to find outif using Spelling Bee Game can develop vocabulary mastery of grade seven students of SMPN 1 Tomini. The researcher applied pre-experimental research design. Ninetygrade seven students of SMPN 1 Tomini took part in this research and VII A, which consisted of 25 students, was selected as the sample of the research. The data were collected using a test administered twice; as a pre-test and a post-test. The data were analyzed statistically. The results of the data analysis show that the value of t-counted (5.81) was higher than the value of t-table (1.71) by applying a significance level of 0.05 with a degree of freedom (df) 24(n-1). It means that the hypothesis is accepted. In other words, applyingSpelling Bee Game can develop vocabulary mastery of grade seven students of SMPN 1 Tomini.
