| Abstrak ABSTRACT This research aims at finding out the correlation between reading habit and reading comprehension. The research subjects were selected using simple random sampling. The sample of this research was 50 students of the grade eight at MTs Negeri 2 Palu. Data of reading habit were collected using questionnaire while data about reading comprehension were collected using multiple choice test. The data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Coefficient Correlation in the program of SPSS version 26. The result of the data analysis indicates that there is significant correlation between reading habit and reading comprehension with 2-tailed significant level (0.000). The correlation is 0.896 which is categorized as “very high” correlation. It means that reading habit strongly influences the reading comprehension.
