Abstrak Sulasmi, 2022. “Studi Perbandingan Hasil Belajar Bahasa Inggris Siswa Sebelum dan Selama Pandemi Covid-19 di SMA Al-Khairaat Kolono”. Skripsi. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa dan Seni, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Tadulako, dibawah bimbingan Sriati Usman dan Zarkiani Hasyim. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris siswa sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19 di SMA Al-Khairaat Kolono. Penelitian ini adalah studi perbandingan dengan desain kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian siswa IPA SMA Al-Khairaat Kolono, tahun ajaran 2019/2020, sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19. Jumlah populasi adalah 49 siswa. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik total sampling yang terdiri dari 49 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dokumen arsip (dokumentasi), kuesioner, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis secara statistik melalui IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rank positif, negatif, dan seri memiliki nilai N yang berbeda yaitu 87.7% siswa mengalami peningkatan, 6.12% mengalami penurunan dan 6.12% siswa tidak mengalami perubahan nilai total yang diperoleh. Hasil analisis juga menunjukkan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) yang diperoleh pada Wilcoxon-Signed Ranks Tests adalah 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari ? = 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian diterima yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar bahasa Inggris siswa sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19 di SMA Al-Khairaat Kolono. The primary purpose of this research was to find out the comparison of the students’ English learning achievement before and during Covid-19 pandemic at SMA Al-Khairaat Kolono. This research was comparative study with quantitative design. The research population was Science students of SMA Al-Khairaat Kolono, academic year 2019/2020, before and during Covid-19 pandemic. The total population was 49 students. The sample was selected by total sampling technique that consisted of 49 students. The data were collected using archival document (documentation), questionnaire, and interview. The data were analyzed statistically through IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0. The results of the data analysis showed that the positive, negative and ties ranks have different N values which is 87.7% students who have an increase, 6.12% students have a decrease, and 6.12% students do not have changes in the total scores obtained. It also showed that the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) obtained in Wilcoxon-Signed Ranks Tests is 0.000 which is less than ? = 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). It can be concluded that research hypothesis is accepted which means that there is a significant difference in students’ English learning achievement before and during Covid-19 pandemic at SMA Al-Khairaat Kolono.
