Abstrak This study was conducted through Library Research method which discussed the factors influencing students’ anxiety in speaking English. Anxiety is a sense of apprehension or doom that is accompanied by certain physiological reactions, such as accelerated hearth rate and sweaty palms. The objective of this research is to find out the factors that influence students’ anxiety in speaking English. The data were taken from research journals linked to this study. There were ten previous research articles reviewed as the data. They were published in different year and publication. In collecting the data, the researcher used content analysis. The researcher began by gathering some references, then read and collected the necessary information based on the research objective. After reviewing the journals, the researcher came into conclusion. The researcher found that there are two main factors influencing students anxiety in speaking English, they are internal and external factors. The internal factors came from the students themselves, meanwhile the external factors can come from the teachers, friends/classmate, and the environment.
