Abstrak
ABSTRACT MOH. FATHIR ( A 121 14 181) This is entitledi, AN ANALYSIS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF TEACHING METHOD IN TEACHING VVOCABULARY Skripsi. Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Language and Art Education Department, English Language Education Study Program, under the supervision of Konder Manurung. The objectives of this research are: first to investigate what are the methods used in teaching vocabulary?; second to find out the most frequently used method in teaching vocabulary?; and third to describe how are the most frequently used method implemented? The research implemented library research method. The data of the research were obtained from scientific writings which implemented teaching methods in teaching vocabulary from 2015-2020. The research data were analyzed by using qualitative techniques through critical analysis. The result of the research find out that there are 37 methods that have been implemented in the teaching of vocabulary. The most frequently used is game. Using games in teaching vocabulary develops habits and skills of dialogue speech, promotes students' speaking initiatives and enhances the natural communicative orientation of the lesson. Based on data from 2015-2020 there are five researcher implemented games in teaching vocabulary. In the mid-1800s Friedrich Frobel implemented play in teaching kindergarten students. The main procedures in implemented game in teaching vocabulary are grouping the students and give the explenation about the game. Keywords: Teaching, Methods, Vocabulary,
