| Abstrak This research aimed to prove that teaching English through bird’s eye view technique can develop writing skill of the students of SMA Bala Keselamatan Palu. The sample of this research was 22 students, in class tenth E. This data was collected by using test instrument. The research applied pre test and post test one group design. The data of test was analysed statistically. The result of data analysis have shown that there was a significant difference between the result of pre test and post test. It was proved through the testing hypothesis, i.e. by applying 0.05 level of significance with 22 (22-1) the degree of freedom (df), the researcher found that t-test (8.9) was greater than the value of the t-table (1.71). In conclusion, bird’s eye view technique was effective to be used in developing writing skill. |
