| Abstrak This research aimed at proving that the implementation of Reading Aloud Technique can improve the students’ pronunciation. The sample of this research was the seventh year students of SMP Negeri 1 Tanantovea particularly class VII A and class VIIB. This research was a true experimental research design that involved two sample groups, they are experimental group and control group. Both groups applied test instrument (pre-test and post-test) in collecting the data. The result of the data analysis showed that there was a significant difference of the achievement between two groups. It was proved by testing hypothesis. By applying 0,05 level of significance and 12 (13-1) degree of freedom (df), it was proved that the t-counted (0.25) was higher than t-table (2.179). Based on the result above, the writer concluded that the use of reading aloud technique is rejected in improving student’s pronunciation. |
