This research aims to analyze the effect of interactive multimedia learning media on the skill of writing observation report text (ORT) in grade ten students of SMA Negeri 01 Wita Ponda. It employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method and a quasi-experimental research design. The research subjects consisted of two classes: the experimental class that used interactive multimedia learning media and the control class that used conventional methods. Data were collected through writing tests before and after treatment and questionnaires to determine students' perceptions of the learning media used. The data were analyzed using inferential statistical techniques to measure differences in learning outcomes between experimental and control groups. The results showed a significant improvement in students' ORT writing skills in the experimental class compared to the control class. In addition, students responded positively to using interactive multimedia learning media, which was considered more interesting and helpful in understanding the material. This research concludes that interactive multimedia learning media positively influences students' LHO text-writing skills. Therefore, this media can be an effective alternative to learning Indonesian, especially in improving students' writing skills. Keywords: interactive media, Observation Report Text, quasi-experiment
