| Abstrak The problem in this research is, what is the form, meaning, and function of reduplication in the Kaili language of the Lauje dialect. The form of reduplication in the Kaili language in the Lauje dialect is as follows: Full reduplication form, basic form bonuo 'house bonuo-bonuo 'houses' Partial reduplication form such as, basic form lamaring 'cupboard lama-lamaring 'small cupboard Reduplication form with affixes such as, basic form polu 'stone'> nopolu-poluong 'rocky'. The meaning of reduplication in the Kaili language in the Lauje dialect is as follows: Stating something small such as, bau-bau 'small fish' and something that •resembles a fish. Stating something that resembles the form in the basic word such as, kaca-kaca 'something that resembles an object. The function of reduplication in the Kaili language in the Lauje dialect is as follows: The function of reduplication of repetition of prefix words (ne) such as, 'nemeas-meas' rather white. The function of reduplication of repetition of prefix words (na) such as, 'natanjal-tanjal rather high.
