The research questions are as follows: (1) The procedure for performing the Sau I Belingka ritual by the Dondo tribe in Buga village, (2) the meaning of the symbols in the Sau I Belingka ritual performed by the Dondo tribe in Buga village. This research aims to (1) describe the process of performing the sau i belingka ritual by the Dondo tribe in Buga village, and (2) characterize the meaning of symbols used in the sau i belingka ritual conducted by the Dondo tribe in Buga village. The research was conducted in Buga village, Ogodeide Subdistrict, Tolitoli regency. This research used a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis stages were data collecting, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. In this research, five people were selected as informants using a purposive sampling technique. One of these individuals was a Sando, or village shaman, while the other four were members of the community. The research findings from the research on the Meaning of Symbols in the Implementation of the Sau I Belingka Ritual by the Dondo Tribe in Buga Village indicate that this ritual has been carried down through generations by the Dondo Tribe and represents many things, including protection, gratitude, and reverence for God and Ancestors.
