| Abstrak IzkaFadilah, 2020.The Anayisys of Hypercorrect and Redundancy of Language Symptoms of the Speech Action of Society in Kelurahan Silae RT 03 RW 02 Ulujadi District, Indonesian Language and Art Study Program, Language and Art Departement, Faculty of Teacher’s Training and Education, Tadulako University. The Supervisor Dr. Syamsuddin, M.Hum. The problem in this research is what is the form of hypercorrect and redundancy of language symptoms of the speech action of society in Kelurahan Silae RT 03 RW 02 Ulujadi District.The purpose of the research is to describe about the form of hypercorrect and redundancy of language symptoms of the speech action of society in Kelurahan Silae RT 03 RW 02 Ulujadi District. The kind of research used is qualitative descriptive one. The data source got from society speech action such as locusi, iolocusi, and perlocusi.The rersearcher used listening method and advanced technique in recording and writing. The techniques of data analysys used consist of (1) Collecting Data, (2) Reducting Data, (3) Presenting Data, (4) Drawing Conclusion and Verification. Method used in in presenting the resul of data analysys is informal method. Based on the research result and analysys it is found that the form of hypercorrect redundancy of language symptoms of the society in Kelurahan Silae RT 03 RW 02 Ulujadi District are : (1) the change of phonem /s/ to /sy/, (2) /sy/ to /s/, (3) /kh/ to /k/, (4) /kh/ to /h/, /p/ to /f/, (6) /f/ to /p/, (7) /z/ to /j/, (8) /e/ and /o to /au/, and then it is also found that the redundancy in the speech action is : (1) The use of the second word is not needed, (2) The same meaning in one phrase, and (3) Plural Forms.
