Key words: cientific approach, writing skill, learning outcome Since 2017 SMP Labschool Untad used curriculum 2013. This curriculum has one approach that is used in teaching-learning process that it named scientifi approach. It is the new approach because of that situation, the scientific approach is not running well when using in teaching learning process especially in learning writing skill therefore, this research aims to provide the understanding of the implementation of scientific approach in learning writing skill to the seventh grade students at SMP Labschool Untad. The method of data collection are obsevation, evaluation, and documentation. Further, the method of data analysis are qualitative descriptive analysis method. Quantitative deskriptive method is used to analyze observation data, while the qualitative descriptive analysis method to analyze data from the results of students evaluation and the documentation of learning media (1) scientific approach in leraning writing that consists of three aspect such as: lerning planning, learning implementation, and learning assessment achieves 70%. It means better and (2) decribing the students outcomens in learning writing such as: cognitive domain, affective domain and psychomotor domain achieves 68%. It means good. |
